1995 Was the first year that I visited Cuba, and I swore I would never return.  It was during the 'special period' as they call it.  But I was bitten (literally and figuratively, and have been unable to stay away from the Island for long ever since.  

Combining my passion for education and for travel (Cuba in particular),  I created an EduTourism branch of my Corporate training company, GWA Training Brokers Inc.  and call it Great World Adventures.  In 2010, after many adventurous years of traveling to Cuba and meeting with many Cuban officials, I was able to successfully navigate the complicated Cuban political waters and struck a deal Ministry of Tourism(MINTUR) the Ministerio de Educacion Superior and the Canadian Embassy in Havana. The first event organized under this agreement was the 2010 Annual International Conference on Sustainable EduTourism to Havana Cuba. Since then, my passion (addiction) to Cuba has continued to grow and evolve. Today, we offer workshops, seminars, conferences and independant and group edutourism programs.
